AGE-BASED PLAYGROUPS + InTEREST GROUPS

Playgroups are the heart of our community. Whether you are currently expecting or in the toddler years, we have a group for you. In the earliest years, connect with parents of other children born within two months of yours for neighborhood walks, coffee meetups, park playdates, happy hours, and much more. We also offer more than a dozen special interest groups. Join as many as you’d like or volunteer to start your own!

NEIGHBORHOOD ZONE PLAYDATES + SOCIALS

New to the area or looking to meet more neighbors? We organize playdates and socials by neighborhood to help you meet families near you!

SEASONAL FAMILY EVENTS

Admission to events exclusive to Lamorinda Moms members and their families, including our biggest annual events Fall Fest and Spring Fest, which feature fun for all ages from food trucks to face painting, train rides and craft stations to petting zoo animals.

MEMBERS-ONLY SOCIAL EVENTS

Get out of the house and have some fun! Members are included in all of our events ranging from seasonal festivals for the whole family, to members night out, dads’ happy hours, and other social events just for parents.

Connect with local parents through our members-only mobile app. Get recommendations or ask questions in the discussion forums – from suggestions for household repair services, to birthday party vendors, to childhood sleep consultants and postpartum resources – there is a wealth of information waiting for you. IT TAKES A VILLAGE PROGRAM

As a member you can request resources for yourself or a fellow member going through a tough time, juggling a move, welcoming a new family member, or managing another difficult transition. Be it meals, groceries, "sick supplies" or other needed forms of TLC, our group of dedicated volunteer members are available to deliver care packages to your doorstep.

FACILITATED MOMS GROUP

Offered several times each year, this intimate group for local moms and their new babies (ages 0-6 months) meets weekly for 8 weeks to discuss topics relevant to new moms whether it’s your 1st baby or 3rd. Facilitated by a skilled therapist and group facilitator, each week focuses on a different topic such as marriage after baby, self-care, sleep, transition back to work and more. 

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

Each month members receive the Lamorinda Moms e-newsletter, filled with information about upcoming club and public family-friendly events, ways to get involved in the club, and much more.

ANNUAL CHARITY BENEFICIARY

Each fiscal year, Lamorinda Moms selects a local organization to highlight to our membership and raise funds for. Our 2023-2024 beneficiary is Pledge to Humanity, which actively engages local volunteers, including Lamorinda Moms members and their families, by offering volunteer opportunities throughout the year that support agencies serving foster children, women’s shelter support, and youth empowerment.
